Faith Based Coaching

Though I coach people every day who do not have a particular religion, I have many clients whose faith is central to their lives. In addition to my foundational life coaching certification, I have additional certification in faith based coaching for these clients regardless of where they are in their journey.

My job and intention is never to tell you or convince you of what to believe. Whether you want help deconstructing your religion, are thinking of leaving your religion, want to continue to participate in your faith in your own unique way, or want to stay in a traditional way, I’m here to help you navigate it all and find peace in your life.

If you are someone who’s faith has been, or is an integral part of your life, this will be an important component of the coaching process.

Your spiritual beliefs shape the way you think about yourself and the world around you. Coaching provides a safe space to explore those thoughts, gain awareness of subconscious beliefs, and gain a deeper understanding of what is true for you.

As someone whose faith is important to them and was raised in a religious environment, I understand the complexities of navigating your beliefs as an ever evolving human.

You absorb religious teachings differently at various stages in your life. The brain of a 5 year old will understand a religious/spiritual concept far differently than a 10 or 15 year old. An adult will understand them differently than a teenager and adults will comprehend and absorb teachings differently at varying stages of life.

The things you ingest in these different stages become intertwined and lead to subconscious beliefs you don’t realize you have and that may cause unnecessary suffering.

When we unravel your beliefs (which are simply phrases in your mind that you’ve thought over and over) and take a look at them, you can decide on purpose which ones you want to keep and which ones aren’t serving you or don’t feel like truth.

Addressing religious beliefs can often feel heavy and overwhelming but coaching allows you to approach it all with curiosity and can lead to relief, peace and clarity.

Let’s explore together.
